Who is iMei?

The iMei team is a group of individuals focused on giving both the individual and the corporate client the best connectivity at the best possible price. Through different distributors we can get you any hardware or software and offer you solutions that are perfect for you. We understand that everyone is different and therefore can custom build a package that fulfils your requirements.

What will happen after I have submitted my application online?

  • An iMei consultant will contact you telephonically within 1 working day to confirm your order as well as request additional information required for the application.  

  • If your application is successful, a Vodacom consultant will contact you within 48 hours to confirm your delivery details.

  • The delivery will be made to you by RAM couriers.

How long will it take for me to receive my order?

Between 5-7 working days from date of application.

What is the duration of the contract?

Contract periods vary between 24 and 36 months depending on the actual deal. The contract period for each deal is specified within the deal details on the iMei Direct website.

When do I make my first payment?

The initial payment will take place via debit order within 48 hours of approval.

How do I receive my order?

Your order will be delivered to the delivery address you choose by RAM couriers.

Am I able to port my number from another Network or Service Provider?

Yes. Further information on the porting process can be found under the Number Portability section on the iMei Direct website.

Can I convert my prepaid number to contract?

Yes.

The device I am looking for is not on the website, what do I do?

Email us at cellular@imei.co.za or fill in your details in the “Let us call you” section of our homepage and we’ll try and assist you with other available deals.

What can I do to cancel the order I have placed?

Contact one of our consultants on 010 590-5888 and we’ll assist you to cancel your order. Please note that should you wish to cancel, you need to do so prior to the activation of order.

Do I pay for the delivery of my device and SIM card?

No, delivery and SIM card are free of charge!

Do I pay for the activation of the SIM card on the Vodacom Network?

No, there are no additional activation fees.
